We are currently hiring a 508 Compliance Expert to review and ensure compliance of various documents for a cybersecurity related organization. In this role, you will work with a team of creative and cybersecurity experts to ensure web content is in compliance with the Rehabilitation Act (Section 508).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate 508 compliance against government Accessibility standards.

  • Planning, preparation, and execution of tests to verify system 508 compliance and documenting and reporting of the test results.

  • Develop test plans, scripts, and scenarios and implement them with software test procedures.

  • Participate in test planning meetings and test readiness reviews providing technical input.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently holds, or is able to obtain, DHS Fitness Determination.

  • BS/BA.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated related experience.

Preferred Skills and experience:

  • 508 Certified Trusted Tester with DHS preferred.

  • Works to create Section 508–compliant MS Word, MS PowerPoint, digital products (video, infographics, and interactive products). Creates Section 508–compliant templates.

  • Previous DHS experience.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Strong research and organizational skills

  • PR agency, corporate or government agency experience preferred.

  • Success with being a team player with experience leading key projects or tasks.

  • Self-starter, with ability to manage tasks and handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$97,699.00 - $166,088.00
