About the Role

If you live in the greater Houston area, are a problem-solver who loves organization, thrives on responsiveness, and gets a kick out of making things work behind the scenes, this is your chance to join a team that transforms industries. This is a remote position with some travel.

As our Administrative Support Coordinator, you’ll make sure nothing falls through the cracks—whether it’s equipment lifecycle tracking, contractor compliance, or mobilization logistics. Simply put: you’ll be the person everyone relies on to anticipate needs, respond quickly, and be part of the team that keeps Ei running at peak performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep us organized & responsive: Track equipment, shipments, and tasks; respond promptly to requests; balance competing priorities like a pro.

  • Be the first line of IT support: Set up devices, manage Google Workspace accounts, troubleshoot issues, and escalate to IT vendors when needed.

  • Ensure compliance & security: Maintain device logs for SOC 2, track confidentiality agreements, and help support contractor oversight.

  • Manage equipment & vendors: Maintain our gear inventory (scanners, laptops, iPads, accessories) with full lifecycle tracking, coordinate servicing and calibration, and ensure everything is ready for deployment. Personally transport and deliver equipment to project sites—both domestically and, when needed, internationally—ensuring smooth mobilizations and compliance with customs requirements. Track SaaS subscriptions, work with vendors for best pricing and support, and keep equipment and IT-related expenses aligned with budget expectations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with ProjectOps, PeopleOps, and IT vendors to resolve bottlenecks and streamline workflows.

What We’re Looking For

  • Super responsive and highly organized—you thrive under competing demands.

  • Comfortable juggling equipment management, basic IT support, and compliance documentation.

  • Tech-savvy with Google Workspace and SaaS tools (bonus if you’ve supported IT provisioning before).

  • Proactive problem-solver who can adapt to shifting project needs and travel when required.

  • Team-first communicator with strong collaboration skills.

Must Haves

  • Authorization to work in the United States.

  • Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening.

  • Flexibility for occasional travel (domestic and international) to support mobilizations and personally transport company equipment in a company vehicle to and from project sites as needed.

Benefits

At Ei, we’re all about taking care of our extraordinary team members and promoting a healthy work-life balance. Here’s what’s in store for you:

  • A healthy work-life balance because we believe in working hard and playing harder.
  • Comprehensive Health/Vision/Dental insurance coverage to keep you feeling your best.
  • A 401(k) plan with matching contributions because your future matters.
  • A cell phone/internet stipend to keep you connected and thriving.
  • Travel stipends and per diem for mobilizations.
  • Generous Time Off and Holiday Schedule because everyone deserves a break now and then.

Annual salary: $45-50K depending on experience.
