We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate Archives Specialist to join our team for a truly unique and special project.

As a vital part of our initiative, you'll help preserve, catalog, and pack one-of-a-kind artifacts and materials of immense cultural and historical significance from all around the world.

This is a temporary, on-site role in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia , with an expected end date of February 2026

Pay Rate : 25$/hour, no benefits

DUTIES:

  • Work directly with the customer’s archival object collection.

  • Catalog and create item-level metadata for objects in a database, following the customer's specifications.

  • Carefully pack and secure artifacts using archival materials, preparing them for safe transit.

  • Maintain meticulous inventory records to track objects throughout the packing and shipping process

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with archival collections, particularly rare or delicate materials, or must hold a degree in Archival Studies or a related field.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move boxes in a confined warehouse environment.
