Job Description:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for Emergency Medicine supports the Director in managing the clinical and administrative operations of the Emergency Department (ED). This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient centered care, promotes nursing excellence, and fosters a collaborative environment in a fast-paced community hospital setting in accordance with the organizational management plan and nursing practice strategic plan.
PAY RANGE: $115,500 - $148,000
*The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree in nursing or BSN in nursing with a master’s degree in healthcare administration required
Experience: 5 years of recent clinical experience in emergency nursing, including at least 2 years in leadership capacity
License/Certification Required: New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) preferred
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and data-driven decision-making. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster effective teamwork. Analytical ability to interpret data and support strategic planning for patient services
