The Assistant Director (AD) is responsible for the daily execution, operational management, and practical implementation of the
UNO
and
UNMC
Scott Scholars Programs. Through detailed oversight and operational excellence, the AD ensures effective program coordination, student support, and the achievement of organizational objectives. Additionally, the AD provides program data and other information as requested to the Suzanne and Walter Scott Foundation (
SWSF
) and communicates programming event information to them. The AD acts as a positive role model, always representing the
UNO
/
UNMC
and the
SWSF
in a professional manner. Furthermore, the AD supports the Founders vision of being a catalyst for positive change by embodying the values of the Foundation: being a lifelong learner, a giver not a taker, and striving to exceed expectations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate Degree in a STEM related discipline.
Three years of experience in program operations and preferably within higher education.
Demonstrated skills in operational execution, organizational management, student support services, and administrative reporting.
