At Dycom Industries, as an Associate IT Business Analyst, you’ll plan, design, develop, and launch efficient technology solutions in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Associate IT Business Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues.

What you’ll do as an Associate IT Business Analyst
Meet with business system owners and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues
Participate in design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow
Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and assist in strategy development for improving or further leveraging these systems
Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions
Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications
Assist in the creation of cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions
Update existing systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts
What you’ll need
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems and/or 0-2 years equivalent work experience
Basic knowledge of systems programming and associated activities
Practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts
Knowledgeable in the operation and analysis of data
Ability to envision system needs from business user interactions, with an understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
Experience with SAP S/4 HANA and background in Accounting a plus
Experience in the participation of design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products
Physical abilities & exposures
Routinely: Engage in standard office activities such as standing, sitting, and using computers for extended periods
Occasionally: Travel domestically up to 10% to attend team meetings or training
