Job Description:
Performs financial accounting and analysis for Highland Hospital with a focus on cash accounting, monthly journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial statement reporting. Interfaces with external and internal auditors throughout the year and provides information and documentation as required.
Salary range:
$60,400-$84,612 annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Job Requirements:
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience preferably in a health care and/or University setting
License/Certification Required: Candidates licensed as a CPA will be preferred
Skills:
Advanced knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting theory
Knowledge of Workday accounting software
Proficient in the use of general ledgers systems including Workday, Allscripts Supply Chain Solutions, ERecord
Comfortability with large data sets and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel including the use of pivot tables
Ability to collaborate in teams and also work independently to meet or exceed deadlines
