We’re filling this role for a client, a high-energy boutique fitness studio offering immersive full-body strength, HIIT, and cardio classes with instructor-led workouts and on-screen tech in a social, vibrant atmosphere.

Job Description

The COO will partner directly with the Founder/CEO and executive team to transform a proven boutique concept into a national brand. This leader will build and implement scalable systems across operations, sales, training, and marketing—ensuring consistency and accountability as we expand at speed.

The right candidate has already scaled a fitness, franchise, or consumer brand to multi-unit national growth, understands the challenges of rapid rollout, and thrives on creating operational playbooks that drive performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a scalable operational infrastructure to support 150+ locations.

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of corporate-owned studios.

  • Partner with franchise development to support rapid expansion while maintaining quality.

  • Integrate sales and retention strategies into training programs and promotional calendars.

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to manage site buildouts efficiently.

  • Establish dashboards and metrics for real-time performance monitoring across all locations.

  • Represent the brand with key partners, advisors, and franchisees.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in senior operations leadership (COO, SVP, or similar), with proven success scaling a multi-unit fitness, franchise, or consumer brand.

  • Track record of launching and supporting 50+ franchise or company-owned locations.

  • Deep knowledge of operational systems: pre-sales, member retention, staff training, retail, and community events.

  • Experience aligning marketing, training, and operations into repeatable playbooks.

  • Strong leadership and people-development skills; proven ability to build high- performing teams.

  • Financial and analytical acumen with ability to drive profitability during rapid expansion.
