Responsibilities
What You'll Do
V2X is seeking a skilled, innovative, and energetic Competitive Intelligence Lead to drive data-driven insights and guide strategic decision-making as we expand our operations globally. This role will be responsible for developing and executing competitive intelligence strategies, gathering, and analyzing market and competitor data, and delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders across the organization. The Competitive Intelligence Lead will oversee the collection, synthesis, and dissemination of intelligence to inform business growth, positioning, and innovation strategies.This leader will establish frameworks, processes, and tools to enable timely and accurate competitive analysis, ensuring the organization remains ahead of market trends and competitor moves. The ideal candidate is adept at translating complex data into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations for leadership teams. Additionally, they will provide day-to-day direction to intelligence analysts and collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and business development teams to deliver impactful insights.

They have a strong understanding of competitive intelligence methodologies, market research tools, and emerging industry trends, and they thrive in fast-paced environments where strategic insights drive transformative outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage and deliver competitive intelligence projects as directed and assigned by the Vice President of Competitive Intelligence
Employ and utilize ethical competitive intelligence sources and methods
Develop and deliver expert and timely tactical and strategic advisory to Business Leadership on V2X competitive positioning
Develop and deliver independent, accurate, confident, and defensible competitive intelligence estimates
Develop and deliver competitive assessment estimates
Develop and deliver competitive pricing estimates
Develop and execute competitive intelligence project plans
Conduct independent research and analysis
Identify, lead and effectively employ research and analysis resources
Assure the effective integration of competitive intelligence into V2X
Train, development, mentor, and support assigned competitive intelligence assets
Meet or exceed individual performance targets and goals
Meet or exceed competitive intelligence team service level and performance targets
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education: One-year related experience may be substituted for each year of education, if degree is required.
Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, or related field with 8 years of experience in competitive intelligence leadership, management, methods and delivery
Master's degree in science, engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience in competitive intelligence leadership, management, methods, and delivery preferred
Competitive Intelligence Certification through Graduate Certificate of Certified Coursework preferred
Experience:
Track record of positioning teams to win
Track record developing and delivering independent and accurate competitive intelligence estimates
Experience developing competitive intelligence estimates and providing business leadership decision support leveraging incomplete information
Experience independently analyzing, summarizing, and communicating customer requirements including contract line items, statement of work, performance work statements, performance specifications, proposal instructions, evaluation methods/standards and all other solicitation supporting information
Experience independently identifying, assessing, mitigating, and communicating gaps, risk and opportunity in customer solicitation requirements
Experience independently converting customer solicitation requirements into competitive intelligence estimates
Experience accurately identifying likely competitor solution approaches to customer requirements
Experience accurately assessing likely customer acceptable offer approaches and mock source selection scoring
Experience developing and delivering competitive intelligence solution architectures, basis of estimate and pricing estimates
Experience developing and delivering Competitive Assessment
Experience developing and delivering Top-Down and Bottom-Up Price to Win
Proven track record of competitive intelligence estimate accuracy
Demonstrated success in ad hoc and real-time individual and team analysis and strategy development
Proven experience in US Federal market competitive intelligence estimate development and delivery
Experience in US Defense and US Civilian agency competitive intelligence development and delivery
Experience with US Federal market solicitation response, proposal development, estimating, pricing, business development, capture, sales, or marketing
Experience in ad hoc and real-time competitive analysis and strategy development
Experience with advanced competitive intelligence analysis, methods, and tools
Other Requirements:
United States Citizenship required
Ability to obtain a US DOD security clearance
Ability to travel - 10%

The successful candidate's starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
USD $140,000-190,000
Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
