Description We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Located in Houston, Texas, this role focuses on creating impactful data solutions and driving enterprise-level data literacy initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in data management, communications, and technical enablement, with a commitment to delivering clear and engaging content to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data pipelines and tools to support enterprise-wide data management and strategy.

• Develop internal communications such as newsletters and executive updates to highlight key data initiatives and successes.

• Create and maintain learning modules in Workday, promoting data literacy and tool adoption across the organization.

• Curate and simplify complex data topics through infographics, quick guides, and explainer decks.

• Track and analyze engagement metrics for learning and communications materials to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement.

• Coordinate and prepare project portfolio updates, including visual summaries and status reports for stakeholders.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to translate technical concepts into accessible content.

• Manage content calendars and publishing schedules to ensure timely delivery of all communications and learning assets.

• Provide logistical and editorial support for team meetings, workshops, and enterprise-wide campaigns. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Data Management, Marketing, Instructional Design, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in a data enablement, learning and development, or communications role.

• Proficiency in tools like Workday Learning, Power BI, and visual design software.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

• Familiarity with data concepts and tools, such as edge computing and infographics creation.
