Pay : $38-$52/hr

Schedule : M-F 8a-5p (OT as needed)

Type of Job : Contract to Permanent

Location : St. Louis, MO

At this time, Astrix cannot transfer nor sponsor a work Visa for this position.

Industrial Maintenance Engineer Daily Tasks: What you will do:

  • Ensure equipment and utilities reliability while maintaining cGMP and food safety compliance.

  • Lead and support maintenance operations, including corrective and preventive tasks.

  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs, spare parts availability, and repair documentation.

  • Monitor plant utilities (compressed air, steam, water systems) for quality and performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, safety, and compliance.

  • Enforce safety regulations, interpret policies, and support continuous improvement.

Industrial Maintenance Engineer Qualifications/Requirements:

  • HS diploma with technical training; BS in Engineering preferred

  • 5+ years manufacturing/industrial experience; supervisory background a plus

  • Knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems, safety regulations, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD

  • Skilled in troubleshooting equipment, reading drawings/blueprints, and maintenance practices
