Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Position Summary
A growing industrial organization is seeking a detail-oriented inventory control specialist to support inventory accuracy and operational efficiency across multiple locations. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining up-to-date records in the ERP system.
Core Responsibilities
Maintain and update inventory records in the ERP system
Conduct daily cycle counts and verify product details (e.g., item number, description, location)
Investigate discrepancies and contribute to root cause analysis reporting
Support the development and implementation of inventory control procedures
Perform physical inventory counts using scales and manual methods
Collaborate with teams to improve inventory processes across sites
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Perform additional duties as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred
At least 1 year of experience in inventory control or a manufacturing setting
Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments
Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Physical & Work Conditions
May be required to sit, climb, kneel, or lift up to 50 lbs
Exposure to mechanical equipment and warehouse environments
Occasional weekend and overtime work may be necessary
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
