At StrongDM, we don’t just build privileged access management software—we make security actually usable. Our IT Team is the secret sauce behind keeping sharp minds moving fast, securely, and SSO’d. We’re cloud-native, SaaS-loaded, and automation-obsessed.
We’re looking for an IT Engineer who can interconnect all our IT tools like Okta, Jamf, and various SaaS apps. Someone who can architect seamless, scalable IT experiences that delight users, reduce friction, and accelerate productivity—because when systems flow, teams grow. What You’ll Do:
- Manage our corporate cloud infrastructure using IaC tools, CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and automation
- Create playbooks, scripts, and automations for repeatable tasks
- Collaborate on designs and architecture, then drive implementation with autonomy—solo or leading a team effort
- Build systems to be updated and scaled with minimal impact on internal users
- Continuously evaluate and improve IT tools, processes, and workflows
- Provide support to our IT helpdesk team and assist internal users
Requirements:
- Experience working in cloud service provider environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and deploying infrastructure using Terraform
- Supporting and administering macOS, Windows, and *nix systems
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (the specific language is less important than capability)

- Document your work to share knowledge and ensure continuity
- Understand that IT exists to support the business; collaboration and humility are essential
- Maintain a positive attitude, own mistakes, and proactively seek improvements

- Available to work CST or EST hours
Compensation:
- $150,000-$170,000 DOE + equity
- Company-sponsored benefits including:
