The Opportunity
We are seeking an IT Project Manager with a strong focus on Customer Experience (Customer Success & Support), who will also serve as a versatile generalist across broader IT initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who has partnered directly with Customer Success and Support teams, understands their operational workflows, and has hands-on experience with SFDC Service Cloud and related CX tools. You will ensure that the systems and processes supporting our customers are scalable, effective, and aligned with Flock’s mission, while also contributing to a wide range of IT initiatives across the company.
What You’ll Do:
Lead CX-focused IT projects: Drive initiatives that enhance Customer Success and Support operations, including implementations, integrations, and optimizations of tools like Salesforce Service Cloud.
Partner with Customer teams: Act as the bridge between IT and business stakeholders in Customer Success, Support, and Operations, ensuring requirements are translated into scalable solutions.
Own end-to-end project lifecycle: Scope requirements, create project plans, manage dependencies, and drive execution through testing, deployment, training, and post-go-live support.
Bring clarity to ambiguity: Structure complex, cross-departmental initiatives and align stakeholders around progress, value, and outcomes.
Generalist IT contributions: Support additional IT initiatives across SaaS, infrastructure, and compliance (e.g., access governance, device provisioning, or audit readiness) when needed.
The Skillset
-
4+ years of experience managing IT projects, ideally in high-growth or SaaS environments.
-
Direct experience working with Customer Success / Support teams and their technology ecosystems.
-
Hands-on SFDC Service Cloud experience (implementation, optimization, or integration) required.
-
Strong background in managing the full IT project lifecycle: requirements, configuration, testing, deployment, and adoption.
-
Proven ability to document requirements, functional design, and training materials.
-
Skilled in stakeholder management and facilitation, with a track record of building strong partnerships across technical and non-technical teams.
-
Experience with business process mapping, gap analysis, and ROI measurement.
-
Familiarity with CX tools and SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Gainsight, Zendesk, JIRA, etc.).
-
Bonus: exposure to IT Security, SOX-driven initiatives, or compliance-related projects.
-
Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and self-driven execution mindset.
