We’re looking for a Senior IT Engineer to be the first point of contact in supporting our employees at Assured. Reporting to the IT Manager, you’ll play a key part in keeping our day-to-day IT Operations running smoothly and help everyone on the team get the technology and access they need to do their best work. You’ll guide new hires through their first day setup, solve technical problems as they come up, and help us build better systems along the way. This role is a chance to directly improve how people work and feel supported at Assured.

You will…

‍ User Support & IT Operations – Serve as the first level technical resource for day-to-day user requests providing exceptional and empathetic technical support for a fully remote workforce, troubleshooting issues across macOS, Windows, Linux, and mobile devices ensuring seamless technology experiences

️Help to manage the employee onboarding and offboarding experience, coordinating and collaborating across multiple teams via Slack, email, and various IT systems

Maintain IT infrastructure, access management, and managing company hardware and software across MacBooks, Windows desktops, and mobile devices.

Develop and oversee IT systems, optimizing configurations, automating workflows, and integrating tools to improve efficiency.

Security & Compliance – Help to enforce security policies, user access controls, and protect company data against cyber threats and compliance risks.

IT Strategy & Growth – Contribute to the IT roadmap planning and new technology evaluations to help scale infrastructure to support company growth and enhance operations.

️ Vendor & Budget Management – Select, negotiate, and manage IT vendors, ensuring cost-effective solutions and strategic partnerships.

Documentation & Process Development – Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and architecture/asset documentation to streamline operations and support future scaling.

You have…

5+ years of User Support experience and IT administration

Proven experience in supporting remote first users, advanced IT administration experience, preferably in a startup environment.

️ Proven expertise in end user support, system administration, and device management using tools like Jamf, Kandji, JumpCloud, and Microsoft Intune.

Strong technical expertise in macOS, with working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

️ Proficiency in device management, software access management, and Google Workspace administration and tools.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently, set priorities, and drive IT initiatives forward.
