We are seeking experienced Legal Experts to contribute to an exciting new research initiative focused on benchmarking and advancing the capabilities of cutting-edge AI systems in the legal domain. This project offers a unique opportunity to apply your legal expertise to the development of next-generation AI technologies.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with research teams to design realistic legal scenarios and case studies.
- Draft and review legal-style content including prompts, briefs, memos, and responses.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on legal accuracy, clarity, and analytical rigor.
- Participate in focused project sprints, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
- Engage in iterative project development to refine methods and outputs.
Note: This is an experimental research project that requires adaptability and close collaboration with the project team.
Ideal Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably at a leading U.S. law firm or in-house with a major corporation.
- Licensed attorney in the United States or Canada.
- Strong foundation in legal research, drafting, and analysis across domains such as corporate law, litigation, or regulatory compliance.
- Excellent written communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to iterate and adapt in a dynamic research environment.

- Duration: 6–8 weeks
- Commitment: ~30 hours per week
Compensation & Contract
- Competitive hourly rate: $90–$110 USD/hour (based on experience)
- Performance-based bonuses: $20–$100 USD/hour for top contributors
- Engagement type: Independent contractor
