Responsibilities
Powerback Rehab is seeking an occupational therapist for a pediatric outpatient setting, which is part of a major Chicagoland hospital healthcare system. This position is temporary, through May 2026. We are seeking someone who is available for the following schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm (40
billable hours/week). Powerback is proud to offer a comprehensive and unique benefits package for those

As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can
bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their
recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy services.
Youre a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.
Youre equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual.
You know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance
their fine and gross motor skills, social emotional well-being, sensory processing, and
self-help skills, and overall independence.
Youre adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work
and the settings.
Youre a teammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, but youre also
happy to make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- They must have a Master’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited
by ACOTE standards (or grandfathered in with Bachelor’s degree).
- They must have at least 2+ years of experience in outpatient pediatric setting
(inpatient pediatrics and/or NICU experience is a bonus but not required).
- They must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in
Occupational Therapy.
- The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational
therapy license as required in the state of practice.
Posted Salary Range
USD $45.00 - USD $50.00 /Hr.
