We’re looking for an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead to support a Federal shared service information technology project. This person will be responsible for leading OCM efforts on the project, ensuring successful adoption of new technologies and processes. The ideal candidate is a proactive and experienced leader with a deep understanding of change management principles within the federal sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all formal organization change management activities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive OCM strategies and plans for federal IT projects.
- Assess stakeholder impacts and readiness to ensure smooth transitions.
- Create and deliver effective communications, training materials, and support resources.
- Work independently to drive change initiatives while also collaborating with project teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- At least seven (7) years of demonstrated experience in Organization Change Management (OCM)
- A minimum of three (3) non-overlapping years of OCM experience in Federal shared service information technology projects
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively and efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and carry out projects through to completion with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated analytical, reasoning, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Position will require a Public Trust background investigation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in a recognized change management methodology (e.g., PROSCI)
- Experience with change management tools and software
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications
