A packaging manufacturing company in the Toledo, Ohio area is seeking a skilled and experienced Packaging Project Manager to lead packaging projects from concept to completion. This full-time, in-office role focuses on overseeing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including milestones and deadlines
- Assign tasks to team members and track project progress
- Ensure all packaging deliverables meet client requirements and quality standards
- Communicate status updates to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Provide guidance and support to team members throughout each project phase
- Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, design, quality, production) to maintain alignment
- Oversee expediting and inspection of packaging components as needed
- Liaise with customers and vendors to ensure effective communication and alignment
- Ensure projects align with client expectations and organizational goals
Qualifications:
- Experience in beauty, skincare, or personal care packaging is required
- Proven success in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or packaging environment
- Strong skills in expediting, inspection, and cross-functional coordination
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
