Job Description
Role Overview:
The Privilege Access Reduction Analyst will lead efforts to discover, assess, and reduce the number of privileged accounts across Windows and *NIX servers. This role is responsible for identifying unused or unnecessary privileged accounts, defining and implementing remediation processes, and supporting ongoing governance to ensure a secure and compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive discovery and inventory of privileged accounts on Windows and *NIX servers.
· Analyze account usage to identify dormant, unused, or redundant privileged accounts.
· Collaborate with system owners and stakeholders to validate account necessity and ownership.
· Define and document standardized processes for privileged account clean-up, deactivation, and removal.
· Implement remediation plans to deactivate or remove unused privileged accounts in accordance with security policies and compliance requirements.
· Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reports to track progress of privilege access reduction.
· Support regular audits and reviews of privileged accounts to ensure ongoing compliance.
· Assist in updating and enforcing access management policies and procedures.
· Coordinate with IT security, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ensure effective execution of remediation activities.
· Provide recommendations for automation and process improvements to streamline account management.
· Communicate findings, risks, and remediation progress to leadership and relevant teams.

Skills and Requirements
· Experience administering and managing Windows and *NIX server environments.
· Strong understanding of privileged access management principles and best practices.
· Familiarity with tools and techniques for account discovery and analysis (e.g., PowerShell, LDAP queries, shell scripting).
· Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) systems and compliance frameworks.
· Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to interpret account usage data.
· Strong documentation and communication skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities. · Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
· Experience in security audit or compliance projects.
Scripting or automation skills for account management tasks. null
