JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is hiring a full time Project Administrator for an engineering consultant firm in the Sarasota/Tampa area. This is a crucial role in supporting project managers and ensuring the smooth operation of FDOT commercial construction projects. They handle various PM and administrative tasks, manage project documentation, and facilitate communication between different teams and stakeholders. This person will have Project Management responsibilities such as managing the inspection team in the field, communicate with the contractors, scheduling, and analyzing claims from contractors. It is crucial this PA has a DOT background. This role reports out of the Sarasota field office but may be traveling to Tampa/Ft Myers as project needs change.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years of Project Admin experience for DOT commercial construction projects
Project Management skills (Oversight of inspectors in field, manage project documents, etc.)
Has supported DOT asphalt and concrete construction projects Proficient in MS Office
