Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, which will align successfully with the organization.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: St. Petersburg, Florida
Pay Range: $22.00 - $23.00/hr
What's the Job?
Perform functional quality tests on materials accurately and efficiently.
Record and report results of inspections, failure analysis, and defect data using SAP and other related databases.
Conduct detailed visual inspections of materials to determine product quality.
Coordinate with production line technicians when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits.
Perform root cause failure analysis and create work instructions for inspection improvements.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or quality environment.
Proficiency in quality inspection practices and the use of measurement devices such as calipers.
Good organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic understanding of engineering and manufacturing terminology and processes.
