About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control Management Specialist supporting our Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) organization. The CSBB organization is focused on innovating and transforming our business with the customer at the center, better enabling customers to engage with us how, when, and wherever they choose through a broad suite of financial products and services. While we are pleased to be an industry leader in many consumer and small business areas, including retail deposits, debit card transaction and purchase volume, and small business lending, our primary goal is delivering for our customers. We want to build a strong value proposition for key consumer and small business segments by identifying gaps and opportunities and building capabilities to transform how we engage customers and deliver advice.
In this role, you will:
Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area
Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls
Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk
Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
2 + years of experience in Complaints Management, Access and Records Management, and or Retail Sales of Non-deposit Investment Products (RSNIP)
2 + years of experience conducting comprehensive Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA), including risk identification, evaluating, and designing controls, performing impact assessments, identifying control gaps, and implementing effective risk remediation strategies
Experience as a Risk Assessable Unit (RAU) Owner
Experience supporting the Issue Management Lifecycle, including issue identification, root cause analysis, corrective action development and implementation
Experience identifying, assessing, evaluating, and documenting controls, control procedures and control gaps, to mitigate and support operational and compliance risk
Knowledge of Branch Banking preferred
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Experience communicating effectively, in both written and verbal formats
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Ability to quickly learn business operations/processes and assimilate information from multiple sources, gather and interpret data, and apply independent judgment to transform ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined, plans and actionable solutions.
Ability to drive and lead organizational change, prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
Ability to develop and negotiate solutions to issues with partners, including escalations as needed

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$77,000.00 - $133,000.00
