About the role: 

We are looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel to join our legal team and support Axonius’ global procurement needs. You will use your legal expertise to have an immediate impact on a fast-growing hi-tech company. The ideal candidate is a business-minded lawyer, focused on execution, and prepared to collaborate with various teams within the company. This role will work cross-functionally with Finance, Security/IT, Marketing, People, and other teams, and will report directly to Axonius’ VP of Legal.

Responsibilities: As Senior Corporate Counsel, Procurement, you will provide legal support to our teams globally. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of procurement agreements, and providing legal support on an ad-hoc basis to a variety of teams.
  • Leading the legal procurement domain, and collaborating with internal stakeholders in developing, streamlining, and refining the procurement process. 
  • Developing and maintaining Company-wide policies, procedures and
    trainings regarding various procurement related topics.
  • Assisting in developing and refining the company’s contract management policies and processes.
  • Working with and managing outside counsel as needed.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of legal experience, inclusive of 3+ years of procurement work within an in-house legal department of a high-growth tech/SaaS company.   
  • Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of procurement agreements, and in building policies and playbooks.  
  • Experience in collaborating with key internal partners, especially within finance/sourcing, and security/cyber assurance, in building and refining the procurement process. 
  • Experience in working with/on procurement systems (e.g., ZIP), and contract lifecycle management systems (e.g., Ironclad). 
  • Ability to work independently and own projects; strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and people management skills; service-oriented and responsive attitude.
  • JD (or equivalent legal) degree and current Bar admission.
  • Ability to reside and work full-time in the United States.
  • Advantage: Experience with US governmental contracting; familiarity with EU, UK, and/or Israeli laws and regulations.
