Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer specializing in embedded systems to lead firmware development for IoT devices. The role involves migrating software from MicroPython to C, implementing OTA updates, and developing computer vision capabilities on resource-constrained devices. You will also set up automated testing processes, ensure secure communication, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements.
Salary Range $120k-130k

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of embedded firmware development experience
Proficient in C/C++ for microcontrollers
Experience with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi communication protocols
Comfortable with hardware debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
Experience interfacing with cameras and protocols like IFP, SpyBus, OctoSpy
Familiarity with Silicon Labs microcontrollers (e.g., FPN32) Experience with Jenkins
Experience with cryptographic protocols TLS null
