Job description
OGC is a boutique research and consulting agency specializing in data-driven strategy, quantitative analytics, and Customer Experience (CX) program design and optimization. Our clients span industries such as Financial Services, Specialty Retail, Telecommunications, Hospitality, and Software.
Comcast’s Consumer Research & Insights team supports divisions and product lines with a wide range of quantitative and qualitative projects to inform strategic decisions and strengthen customer experience. Comcast is looking to hire a Senior Market Research Analyst to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned analyst who thrives in fast-paced environments, brings advanced analytical capabilities, and is comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders.
This role requires being in the Philadelphia office at least 4 days per week.
The ideal candidate has a knack for acquisition-related research, strong quantitative capabilities, and foundational qualitative experience. Someone who is intellectually curious, resilient, and ready to contribute to ongoing and acquisition-focused studies.
Responsibilities:
-
Lead research end-to-end, including vendor coordination, stakeholder management, and deliverables
-
Handle large-scale quantitative analytics, leveraging tools like Excel and survey platforms, while interpreting advanced techniques (e.g., regression, MaxDiff, Conjoint – not necessarily building models, but understanding results).
-
Oversee qualitative research approaches (e.g., in-depth interviews (IDIs), focus groups, survey-based open responses), growing into deeper qualitative execution over time.
-
Understand and articulate what the data reveals, translate raw results into insights, takeaways, and strategic recommendations.
-
Collaborate with stakeholders during project execution (post-kickoff), maintain data integrity, and manage the flow of internal and external data sources.
-
Develop or refine research tools (e.g., surveys), ensuring methodological rigor, data quality, and successful implementation.
-
Synthesize and present findings through compelling visuals and narratives in PowerPoint and concise written reports for senior leadership.
-
Keep projects on track, meet or exceed timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
-
Exhibit intellectual curiosity, proactively explore, interpret, and question what the data may indicate.
Job requirements
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Science, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field.
-
5–7 years of experience in market research/analytics/insights, ideally in a fast-paced agency, consulting, or client-side environments
-
Must be based in Philadelphia and able to work onsite at least 4 days/week.
-
Strong background in quantitative research and analytics with some qualitative exposure (IDIs, focus groups) is expected, with room to grow.
-
Proficiency in advanced Excel and survey programming tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Decipher, SurveyMonkey, Suzy).
-
Strong statistical understanding and familiarity with interpreting results.
-
Excellent communication, stakeholder interaction, and the ability to derive and share insights from data.
-
Highly organized, attentive to workflow and project timelines.
