Must-have Skills 

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 5+ years of increasing responsibility in Technical Project Management, Scrum Master, and/or Management roles with leadership responsibilities
  • 2.5+ years skills in coaching, mentoring people and building strategic initiatives and cross-divisional programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; or similar equivalent experience
  • Experience managing technical software development projects in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Solid understanding of Agile project management principles and how to adapt them to new business environments
  • Proven track record of forming, storming, and norming new teams
  • Demonstrated experience managing and delivering development and business change or continuous improvement programs preferably in a large, matrixed group
  • Strong experience coaching, mentoring and training agile project managers and scrum masters
  • Experience with change management techniques
  • Experience working within and or building out an Agile PMO
  • Effective communicator with a wide range of audiences from team member to executive
  • This a position based in Barcelona in a hybrid mode (3 days per week at the office)

  • An organized and creative storyteller through story maps, epics, user stories, release planning, Kanban boards, relative sizing estimation techniques, feedback loops, and team metrics
  • A strong analytical thinker with a love for planning and organization who can manage competing demands with minimal supervision
  • Someone who loves to listen, easily understands business needs, and can establish a high level of trust and confidence with customers, stakeholders, and organizational leadership
  • A self-starter with a never-ending curiosity to learn, solve problems, coach, mentor and help others
  • Able to maintain the “big picture” without losing sight of the complexity within and a knack for communicating various layers of detail clearly to appropriate audiences
  • A natural facilitator when it comes to collaboration/brainstorming, negotiating, and team building sessions
  • A leader, coach, and mentor that thrives on metrics, regular feedback loops, and finding challenges/activities to grow your team in the pursuit of continuous improvement
