Kentro is hiring a Senior Quality Manager responsible for overseeing and maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance across all EDAT program activities in support of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). This role ensures compliance with contractual requirements, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, reliability, and mission readiness.
The Senior Quality Manager also plays a key role in ensuring alignment with Kentro’s corporate quality standards, maintaining consistency between EDAT’s on-contract quality processes and Kentro’s organizational Quality Management System (QMS).
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management Plan (QMP) aligned with EDAT objectives, USSOCOM standards, and Kentro corporate policies.
- Oversee all program-level quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed performance and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular audits, process reviews, and performance assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.
- Manage metrics collection and reporting for quality performance indicators across all workstreams and subcontractors.
- Ensure all quality documentation, records, and checklists are up to date and accessible for both program and corporate compliance reviews.
- Partner with Kentro’s Corporate Quality Team to ensure EDAT processes align with company-wide standards, training, and best practices.
- Provide quarterly updates to corporate leadership on program quality performance, trends, and improvement areas.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, standardizing best practices across the EDAT portfolio and sharing lessons learned with other Kentro programs.
- Support contract deliverables review, including documentation, configuration management, and version control compliance.
- Serve as the primary quality liaison with the Government and Kentro corporate stakeholders.
- Provide quality-focused coaching and mentorship to project leads and subcontractor teams.
Location: Remote (MacDill AFB – Tampa, FL)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in quality management within defense, federal contracting, or enterprise IT programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS), process improvement methodologies (ISO 9001, CMMI, Six Sigma, or equivalent).
- Proven experience managing quality for complex, multi-subcontractor government programs.
- Strong understanding of DoD acquisition and compliance standards, including documentation control and performance measurement.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ Certified Quality Manager/Engineer (CQE/CQM).
- Experience supporting USSOCOM, SOCOM components, or other DoD C5ISR programs.
- Familiarity with data analytics, ITIL frameworks, or DevSecOps quality processes.

- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
