Working Location

This role is a remote position, you must be based out of one of the following states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C.

Job Summary

We’re currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about integrating data and design with emerging technologies. 

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will work collaboratively with product, engineering, and design teams to deliver powerful cloud-based solutions that drive a user-friendly estate planning experience. 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead the development of new features and improvements across our platform.

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software.

  • Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to align on product goals and deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, promoting best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.

  • Design and implement scalable and secure architectures, leveraging AWS services to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.

  • Adhere to professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 8+ years relevant work experience

  • Proficiency in React/Javascript – Typescript experience a plus

  • Proficiency in Ruby/Ruby on Rails

  • Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as NodeJS, Python, Rust, Go, Java or others

  • Experience in GraphQL and APIs

  • Expertise in one or more of the major public clouds, preferably AWS

The salary range for this role is $160,000 to $180,000. Our compensation packages also include a performance based bonus and equity.  Compensation is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
