Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic
Job Description
As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing various types of sheet metal ductwork, including spiral, galvanized, rectangular, double wall, and fiberglass. You will also be required to measure and cut the appropriate size of sheet metal, install preassembled ducts, and interpret blueprints to complete layouts when needed. This role requires a general knowledge of piping and controls and the ability to use scribers, dividers, and squares to mark dimensions on materials.
Responsibilities
Install various types of sheet metal ductwork such as spiral, galvanized, rectangular, double wall, and fiberglass.
Measure and cut sheet metal to the appropriate size.
Install preassembled ducts.
Interpret blueprints and complete layouts as needed.
Use scribers, dividers, and squares to mark dimensions on materials.
Possess general knowledge of piping and controls.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
