Compensation ranging $100-115K depending on experience. Will be leading/mentoring a team of 4/5 developers.

Job Summary:
We’re seeking a pragmatic, hands-on Technical Lead/Developer to own our back-end architecture and guide a small software team. You’ll partner closely with product and contractors, mentor internal developers, and roll up your sleeves to optimize our AWS infrastructure, streamline development workflows, and modernize our full-stack applications.
Duties:
Lead & Mentor: Grow and guide a team of 4–6 engineers (API/backend, front-end react, mobile, dashboard), conduct code reviews, and foster best practices
Architect & Build: Design and implement Node.js/TypeScript RESTful and GraphQL APIs; model and optimize data in DynamoDB/MongoDB and PostgreSQL/MySQL
Own AWS Deployments: Develop serverless components (Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito) and containerized services (ECS/EKS); manage IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform)
Enhance DevOps: Maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, implement chaos testing and canary releases, and monitor performance with CloudWatch, X-Ray, and APM tools
Elevate Security: Embed secure coding, threat modeling, RBAC, OAuth/JWT, and encryption best practices into every release
Collaborate & Deliver: Translate product requirements into technical plans, coordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time releases
Requirements
Top Skills/Experience Looking For:
2+ years as a Lead Dev - will be mentoring a team of 4 (but they are pretty independent)
Web APIs, JavaScript (or TypeScript), React, Node (or Nest Js), CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab
Code reviews and best practices looking at the design they have now and building out
DynamoDB (preferred) but can have any of the following databases as well: MongoDB; PostgreSQL or MySQL
Is a plus (not required) - Knowledge of Salesforce
