Staff Software Engineer (Contract) – PSG Project

Role Overview
We are seeking Staff Software Engineers to support the PSG Project. The typical candidate will have experience working in enterprise software system in a cross-collaborative environment. The candidate is expected to work closely with stakeholders including Product Managers, Architects to help shape the requirements, influence the solution, and explain the same to the team. The candidate needs to be a team player and should be willing to take up responsibilities as necessitated by project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Communication
Clearly articulate engineering point of view in calls with stakeholders including Product Managers and Architects
Analysis
Break down requirements into technical asks related to the system at hand
Work with Product Managers to ensure backlog, maintain story hygiene, and ensure stories are implementation ready.
Solutioning
Able to collaborate with architects to come up with a solution for the problem at hand.
Explain the solution to stakeholders
Execution
Able to convert solution designs to working deliverables
Ensure high quality deliverables with clear focus on design alignment, code, code reviews,
Represent team in periodic calls with stakeholders
Hypercare & Post Go-Live Management
Support post-go-live stabilization during the hypercare period.
Triage incidents, track resolution, and report on hypercare performance.
Preferred Qualifications
Full-stack engineer with 4-7 yrs of solid hands-on experience in enterprise platforms with excellent communication skills.
Technically hands-on in UI frameworks like Angular, React with hands-on experience in HTML, CSS
Hands-on proficiency in ServiceNow Platform including Scripting, integrations, ACLs, Flow designer, Scheduled jobs or equivalent
Solid implementation experience in cross-system integrations using REST, Graph QL or related technologies.
Able to work on technical requirements with minimal support
Engage with stakeholders including product managers for clarifications on requirements, stories.
