Job Description

AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineering IV in New York, NY.

Job details:

  • Provide specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

  • Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

  • Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.

  • Use expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.

  • Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

  • Prepare technical specification sections.

  • Provide input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

  • May assist more junior staff members with aspects of their job or may coordinate activities of a small team.

  • May telecommute.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

  5. AutoCAD;

  6. RAM structural system;

  7. RAM Elements;

  8. RAM Concept;

  9. RAM Connection;

  10. Tedds;

  11. Staad pro; and

  12. IDEA StatiCa.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $139214 to $227840.54.
