The Systems Access Coordinator acts as an IT liaison for internal departments, hospital partners, and affifiliate practices. Responsible for managing and authorizing  appropriate system access while maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for various system adminstration and user permissions.  Responds promptly to all correspondence from divisions or departments within the organization as well as partners and affiliates.  The coordinator provides technical and administrative assistance to organization and hospital affiliate staff and is also responsible for project coordination, maintenance and management.

Responsibilities

  • Competently perform a wide range of system administration duties including active directory management, security profile maintenance within multiple hospital systems and maintain health provider database within Soarian Clinical and Financial systems.
  • Create and maintain remote system access for affiliate practices and staff.
  • Proficiently maintains detailed knowledge of security access requirements mandated by HIPAA laws and hospital policies; ensure proper authorization is granted prior to provisioning access.
  • Work closely with Information Security team to establish account maintenance procedures following industry best practices.
  • Work closely with multiple departments to ensure proper system access
  • Effectively provides troubleshooting support including researching, prioritizing, documenting, testing and presenting solutions/options.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned by hospital leadership.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in information technology or related field required along with three (3) to five (5) years of Information Technology work experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues.  Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Desire to work in a dynamic environment with numerous opportunities and challenges.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Active Directory Management, Windows file systems
  • Soarian Clinical and Financial application knowledge
