Weatherford is currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Manager – Production and Intervention Services to support our North America Offshore operations. This position combines technical expertise with strategic sales capabilities to drive business growth and lead high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will leverage in-depth product knowledge to effectively position and sell specialized tools, technologies, and services within an assigned portfolio while providing mentorship and direction to team members. This is a critical, customer-facing leadership role requiring both commercial acumen and strong technical understanding of production and intervention solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute strategic sales initiatives for specific tools, technologies, and services within an assigned portfolio
Develop and mentor team members to achieve sales targets and professional growth objectives
Work directly with clients at their locations to provide high-level product knowledge and support
Identify cross-selling opportunities across different segments and orchestrate collaborative efforts to capitalize on them
Contribute to sales strategy development and annual budget planning, providing leadership in forecasting and resource allocation
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective relationship management
Drive team performance through clear goal-setting, performance management, and accountability measures
Champion organizational values and create a culture of excellence within the sales organization
Qualifications Required
4+ years of industry technical or operational experience in the energy services sector
6+ years of sales experience in a related field, including 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity
Proven track record of leading successful sales teams and driving revenue growth
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
Demonstrated ability to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of production and intervention product and service offerings
Strong negotiation skills with focus on margin performance
Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities with a focus on long-term business development
Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing talent within sales organizations
