Technical Sales Manager Production and Intervention Services – North America Offshore

Weatherford is currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Manager – Production and Intervention Services to support our North America Offshore operations. This position combines technical expertise with strategic sales capabilities to drive business growth and lead high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will leverage in-depth product knowledge to effectively position and sell specialized tools, technologies, and services within an assigned portfolio while providing mentorship and direction to team members. This is a critical, customer-facing leadership role requiring both commercial acumen and strong technical understanding of production and intervention solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute strategic sales initiatives for specific tools, technologies, and services within an assigned portfolio

  • Develop and mentor team members to achieve sales targets and professional growth objectives

  • Work directly with clients at their locations to provide high-level product knowledge and support

  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across different segments and orchestrate collaborative efforts to capitalize on them

  • Contribute to sales strategy development and annual budget planning, providing leadership in forecasting and resource allocation

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective relationship management

  • Drive team performance through clear goal-setting, performance management, and accountability measures

  • Champion organizational values and create a culture of excellence within the sales organization

Qualifications Required

  • 4+ years of industry technical or operational experience in the energy services sector

  • 6+ years of sales experience in a related field, including 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity

  • Proven track record of leading successful sales teams and driving revenue growth

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of production and intervention product and service offerings

  • Strong negotiation skills with focus on margin performance

  • Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities with a focus on long-term business development

  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing talent within sales organizations
