Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 15 years of experience as an operator at startup or investing in startups.

  • Experience in Machine Learning, AI, or GenerativeAI.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing products and technologies in Cloud or SaaS technology.

  • Understanding of, and network with, the early stage startup community and tech ecosystem.

  • Excellent business development skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple, evolving projects in parallel.

  • Excellent collaborating skills, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive other stakeholders without reporting authority.

  • Excellent business acumen for engaging with executives as well as technical proficiency to interact with CTOs and technical leaders.

The Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team guides customers through the moments that matter most in their cloud journey to help businesses thrive. We help customers transform and evolve their business through the use of Google’s global network, web-scale data centers, and software infrastructure. As part of an innovative team in this rapidly growing business, you will help shape the future of businesses of all sizes and use technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners.

In this role, you will engage with early-stage Venture Capitals in the region to supercharge hyperscaling (high potential) startups globally. You will collaborate with Google teams to focus on startups across Google Cloud and Alphabet, and will foster Google Cloud Platform (GCP) usage among VC portfolio companies through engagement and targeted interventions with the VC funds, and close business partnership with Cloud’s Startup and Business Teams. You will be an essential VC and Startup community go-to and Google Cloud representative.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted expert advisor to Venture Capital General Partners, leading initiatives that accelerate the success of their portfolio companies.

  • Make it easy for VCs and startups to leverage Google Cloud and Google products and services.

  • Engage founders to drive pipeline and business growth opportunities for Google Cloud in partnership with the Startup Success and Business Teams.

  • Co-lead regular reviews with VCs on their respective portfolios.

  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver events, content and offers to VCs and startups.
