Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven International Sales Lead to expand our global footprint in genomic medicine and diagnostics. This individual will drive revenue growth and build strategic partnerships within health systems and related entities across international markets, while ensuring world-class service delivery. As both a hands-on seller and strategic leader, the International Sales Lead will develop and execute the commercial strategy, align cross-functional teams, and establish GeneDx as a trusted global partner in genomic interpretation.
Job Responsibilities
Sales
- Develop and implement an international sales strategy aligned with company goals across health systems and emerging global markets.
- Own and manage the global sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure and ongoing account growth.
- Cultivate strong, long-term client relationships with providers, healthcare institutions, distributors, and channel partners worldwide.
- Drive new revenue opportunities by expanding into untapped geographies and verticals.
Market Growth & Strategy
- Define sales KPIs, reporting dashboards, and revenue forecasts to ensure accountability and measurable growth.
- Lead market analysis to identify growth drivers, competitive positioning, and market-entry opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing to design and launch localized, culturally relevant campaigns, events, and partner programs.
- Serve as a global ambassador for GeneDx, representing the brand externally in key markets, conferences, and collaborations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Clinical, and Customer Success teams to align product offerings and support localized market needs.
- Provide commercial insights to inform product roadmap, pricing strategies, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Support education and training programs for international partners and customers, including CME and professional development events.
Team Leadership
- Build, inspire, and manage a high-performing international sales team with a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Translate strategic insights into actionable sales enablement tools, training, and execution support.

Education, Experience, and Skills
- 10+ years of global sales and commercial leadership experience in the life sciences, genomics, diagnostics, or digital health industries.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, international market expansion, and managing large accounts
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles in healthcare, academic, and regulatory environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles within healthcare, academic, and/or diagnostic lab
- Experience managing distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with global stakeholders.
- Excellent communicator with a passion for building customer
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with global stakeholders.
- Passion for improving patient outcomes and advancing the field of genomic medicine.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business or life sciences
