The Role
We’re hiring our first Product Marketing Manager to help define our story, sharpen our GTM, and turn technical power into market clarity.
You’ll partner directly with the founders, customers, and product team to shape how Promptfoo is positioned, discovered, and adopted across both developer and enterprise buyer personas.
What You’ll Do
Positioning & Messaging (40%)

Define and refine messaging for different personas: security teams, developers, AI leads, and compliance stakeholders

Translate technical capabilities into clear customer value

Build compelling product narratives, website copy, and pitch assets
Go-To-Market Execution (30%)

Launch new products and features with crisp, differentiated messaging

Support sales with battlecards, case studies, and customer-facing collateral

Help us define and evolve our ICPs and personas
Brand & Awareness (20%)

Lead creative brand-building campaigns (e.g., events, partnerships, thought leadership, non-traditional plays like stunts or billboards)

Work with founders on CEO/founder brand amplification

Drive analyst/influencer relations
Growth Experiments & Demand Gen (10%)

Test paid and organic channels (LinkedIn, SEO, SEM, newsletter sponsorships, etc.)

Set up lightweight measurement and reporting infrastructure

Collaborate on funnel improvements and customer journeys
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
-
3–6+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing with experience in cybersecurity
-
Experience working with both bottoms-up and top-down GTM motions
-
A strong strategic communicator with writing and storytelling skills

Comfortable in fast-paced, zero-to-one environments
-
Analytical and structured thinker with a bias toward testing and iteration
Nice-to-Haves

Background in developer tools or AI

Prior experience with Promptfoo or LLM application dev

Familiarity with product-led growth or developer marketing

Has built category-defining messaging or helped open new markets
