Your Mission

As a Fullstack Engineer you will be responsible for working with the engineering team to develop the future of Prokeep as an application. This is a key role on our team and we are seeking an individual who has a passion to create real change in our customer facing product.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other members of the Engineering and Product teams to develop new user-facing features.

  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and customer success to understand customer needs and deliver solutions that improve the user experience.

  • Write, test, debug, and document code to ensure software meets business and quality standards.

  • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices to improve code quality and maintainability.

  • Learn and apply modern development techniques, tools, and frameworks to grow technical skills.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues in production and development environments.

  • Contribute ideas to improve processes, tools, and systems as you gain experience.

  • Approach challenges with curiosity and a willingness to grow, while supporting the team’s success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2-5 years of experience building software applications (internships or academic projects count).

  • Familiarity with one or more programming languages; exposure to Elixir, JavaScript/React, or Python is a plus.

  • Understanding of basic web development concepts (e.g., APIs, databases, front-end vs. back-end).

  • Eagerness to learn about cloud platforms like AWS and modern development practices (RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively across channels (email, Slack, video calls, etc.).
