Team Rubicon (TR) is seeking a Leased Employee, Accounting to join TR’s Finance x Accounting team! The Leased Employee, Accounting role will assist with general accounting duties including balance sheets, prepaid expenses, receivables, prepare reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts.
Every day will be a challenge, but every month brings new opportunities for an organization that is quickly becoming a household name in disaster response. This position reports to TR’s Deputy Director, Accounting & Auditing and can be based remote anywhere within the United States.
This is a temporary assignment lasting until end of year 2025 with potential for extension. The role will be managed through a third-party staffing agency partnered with Team Rubicon.
Project: TR Finance Accounting & AP Surge Support
Duration: Immediate – December 2025
Expected Hours Per Week: 40
Duties:
- Assist with general accounting, working on assigned balance sheet accounts such as Prepaid Expenses, TR Store Receivables, and Inventory.
- Prepare reconciliation schedules to support the assigned balance sheet accounts and record journal entries at month end and year end to set the accounts to proper balances.
- Assist with all accounting reconciliations.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to support overall department goals and objectives.
- Gather and provide documentation required for annual financial audit.
