We are looking for a dynamic UX Researcher, who will shape how millions of candidates discover and join Amazon.
The ATA User Research will produce insights that will help Amazon to ensure that hiring processes scale effectively across all levels of recruitment - from warehouse associates to senior executives. You'll be part of an innovative team taking a fresh look at the future of work, collaborating with UX designers, product managers, engineers, research science and data analyst teams to understand the needs of candidates, employees, managers, and HR teams globally. Your research will drive strategic improvements in both high-volume operational hiring and specialized corporate recruitment processes, directly impacting how we build and grow our global workforce for the next decade of AI/LLM advancements in both our research methods and the products we build.
Key job responsibilities
Own end-to-end research process and execute research roadmaps
Select and implement appropriate research methodologies
Analyze data to determine key findings and recommendations
Deliver high-quality research and insightful reports
Translate user insights into actionable recommendations
Conduct research interviews and moderate sessions effectively
Basic Qualifications
3 - 5 years proven success leading user research projects with demonstrated impact
End-to-end experience with research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
strong grasp of quantitative data analysis, specifically with multivariate analysis and interpretation
conducting research for AI/ML based products a plus
Exceptional behavioral data collection and analysis skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
BS in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or similar field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods
Experience with web analytics tools
MS in Human Factors, HCDE, or Cognitive Psychology
Research experience in HR industry
Experience testing across multiple devices
UX Research experience in US markets
Knowledge of AI/ML models and retrieval augmented generation techniques with user research data,

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
