JOB TITLE: Video Content Creator

REPORTS TO: Director of Operations

SCOPE OF POSITION: We’re looking for a creative and reliable Video Content Creator to join our team. This role focuses on producing engaging, straightforward video content for nonprofits—ranging from short-form reels to simple longer videos (about 1–2 minutes). You’ll take raw footage, interviews, or event clips and cut them together into polished, audience-ready content. This is the perfect position for a recent graduate or someone with a passion for social media who is looking to grow their portfolio & make an impact by supporting mission-driven organizations and non-profits.

Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form content (reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, etc.) with captions, transitions, and music
  • Edit longer-form videos (1–2 minutes) by cutting together interviews, b-roll, and voiceovers
  • Repurpose existing content (photos, event clips, longer videos) into engaging highlight reels
  • Use CapCut or similar tools for editing, captions, and basic graphics
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure videos match nonprofit branding and tone
  • Deliver projects on time while balancing multiple deadlines

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience editing short-form and simple long-form videos (school, freelance, nonprofit, or personal projects all count!)
  • Familiarity with CapCut or other user-friendly editing tools
  • A creative eye for storytelling and pacing in video
  • Ability to piece together raw footage into smooth, cohesive final videos
  • Strong communication and reliability

Nice to Have (but not required):

  • Experience creating your own reels/TikToks/YouTube content
  • Knowledge of social media trends and how to maximize engagement
