Responsibilities

1. Analyze and configure Mainframe DASD storage availability, SMS constructs, ACS routines
2. Monitor, support, maintain, and enhance associated storage, backups, and data replication for Sysplexes
3. Analyze and determine cause of Mainframe DASD space concerns
4. Configure Mainframe DASD space capacity where required.
5. Monitor DASD storage resources for performance and available space
6. Review Mainframe DASD storage thresholds to determine adequate space availability
7. Analyze and determine cause of DASD space concerns
8. Analysis of Mainframe DASD storage usage availability
9. Provide estimates and recommendation of DASD and storage requirements
10. Configure DASD storage space available to correct DASD space shortage
