Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Loan Account Manager located in Boston, MA or an another R4 office location, with some work-from-home opportunities. The Loan Account Manager will be responsible for managing loan accounts and maintaining customer relationships. Tasks include:
· Assist in Borrower monthly billing preparation, distribution, and collection
· Prepare monthly/quarterly servicing fee invoices to investors and confirm payment
· Prepare quarterly invoices for servicing strips and confirm payment
· Approve and sign off on Trustee direction letters for Trustee distributions
· Direct Trustees on allocation of incoming and outgoing funds (e.g., monthly payments, replacement reserve, tax, insurance, operating reserve, insurance loss…)
· Direct Trustees on and internal transfers of funds
· Depository account management with Trustees
· Reconcile and upload monthly transactional account balances
· Assist in the management of monthly loan installments – update database, provide schedule changes to Fund Management, Trustees, select investors
· Quarterly reporting of trustee balances for loan valuations managed by Fund Management
· Preparation of revised amortization schedules and updates to the database
· Review bond/loan documents
· Assist in collection of Guarantor annual reporting
· Confirm that guarantors meet joint-and-several financial covenants
Qualifications
- Experience in loan management and loan servicing
- Strong skills in financial analysis, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance
- Proficient in customer relationship management and maintaining client accounts
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with loan management software and financial reporting tools
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of real estate finance, accounting, or servicing experience preferred
