Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.
Review and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Enter, code, and process invoices and expense reports in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Process payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers) and manage cash flow to meet obligations. Verify and maintain vendor information and ensure adherence to company credit terms.
Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable, including accruals and reconciliations.
Work with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and address approval or coding issues.
Provide exceptional customer service to vendors and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure compliance with all internal controls, policies, and regulations related to accounts payable.
Suggest process improvements and contribute to efficiency initiatives within the department.
Requirements
Qualifications:
2+ years of proven experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
Proficient in using accounting software (experience in [insert relevant platforms, e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks] is a plus).
Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a high-volume accounts payable environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems and digital invoicing workflows.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
