Accounts Payable Specialist
Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to make a meaningful impact at a dynamic organization? Robert Half is partnering with a client to fill a Contract Accounts Payable Specialist role for a growing business. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play a vital role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining vendor relationships-all while contributing to the success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Process invoices and payments promptly and accurately.
Verify, reconcile, and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable records.
Communicate with vendors regarding invoicing and payment matters.
Review expense reports and ensure adherence to company policies.
Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports, including aging schedules.
Assist in month-end closing processes and financial audits.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to streamline payment processes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.
2+ years of relevant accounts payable experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
