Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Oldsmar, Florida. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while utilizing your expertise in accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
Accurately code invoices into the accounting system to ensure proper recordkeeping.
Obtain necessary approvals for purchase orders to comply with organizational policies.
Address vendor inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining strong relationships.
Process vendor payments accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile vendor accounts to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Handle annual processing of 1099 forms in compliance with tax regulations.
Review and process employee expense reports efficiently and in line with company guidelines.
Utilize Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel to perform daily accounting tasks and reporting. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or similar accounting functions.
Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel for accounting operations.
Strong understanding of account coding and reconciliation processes.
Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment methods.
Ability to process and manage employee expense reports effectively.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
