Job Description:
TheAdministrative Assistant**provides clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. Supports managers, other employees, and office visitors by handling various tasks to ensure that all interactions between the organization and others are positive and productive.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to departments and senior executives
- Verifies customer purchase orders for accuracy and completeness of information
- Contacts customers directly if there are questions regarding customer information, pricing, delivery, and other concerns
- Enters orders into ERP system for processing, proofs data entry documents for accuracy
- Maintains the Customer Service Discrepancy Claims Log
- Updates information in the company database as required
- Answers phones, screens, and directs incoming calls or visitors to the appropriate individual or department
- Sorts and distributes inter-office mail
- Assists in the preparation, compilation and distribution of regularly scheduled reports
- Coordinates travel arrangements and catering requirements for the executive team
- Assists in the preparation, compilation and distributions of regularly scheduled reports
- Participate in company community relations activities as directed
- Fulfills sales literature requests
- Runs errands as needed
- Handles sensitive information in a confidential manner
