Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic - Aviation
Job Description
Engage in sheet metal and structural work on a fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircraft. This role involves interpreting technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings, utilizing various tools, gauges, and instruments necessary for assigned duties.
Responsibilities
Perform sheet metal and structural repairs on Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
Interpret and work from technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
Utilize tools, gauges, and instruments effectively to complete assigned tasks.
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all forms and documents required for heavy maintenance service, including Company policy and procedure manuals, FAR's, AD's, Service Bulletins, and Maintenance Manuals.
Essential Skills
Experience in aviation, particularly with sheet metal and structural work.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
Proficiency in the use of relevant tools, gauges, and instruments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred: 2 years of commercial heavy jet experience in an MRO setting.
Acceptable: 2 years of military experience on acceptable aircraft.
Acceptable: Equal mix of commercial heavy jet and helicopters, commercial heavy jet and regional jets, or military acceptable jet and regional jets/helicopters.
Ability to obtain a SIDA badge.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
