KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in the development and execution of strategic, goal-based, data-driven marketing and communications plans aligned with department vision and goals.
Oversees the creation of marketing and communication materials across multiple channels, including email, social media, digital platforms, and advertising.
Acts as project manager for content related initiatives.
Develops, oversees and manages marketing and communication initiatives, specifically email communication and social media.
Conducts market research and plans efforts to deliver effective, culturally relevant communication to prospective students and other stakeholders.
Conveys the university's value proposition, increasing prospective student engagement from prospect through enrollment.
Seeks and leverages new and existing technology to maximize and track prospective student engagement using social media, web design, email, and other platforms.
Helps marketing team cultivate data-driven marketing practices to enroll a diverse and high-achieving student body.
Collaborates with university marketing professionals to implement comprehensive marketing and communication initiatives.
Serves as a strategic advisor to the leadership of Marketing and Communications as well as to the department staff and senior management.
Assists in managing budget and resources to meet current and future marketing and communication needs.
May manage staff and/or students.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or other related fields.
Five years of relevant work experience which includes writing and implementing marketing plans based on market research.
Experience in strategic planning, market analysis, lead generation, and execution of online marketing initiatives required.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
